Protecting Asian Cats from Trafficking and Trade (PACT) by TRAFFIC Southeast Asia
The PACT project aims to enhance protection for Asian cats in Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia, by strengthening enforcement agencies' and prosecutors' capacity to combat wildlife crime.
Asian cat species, such as tigers, leopards, and clouded leopards, are threatened by poaching and illegal trade. Despite efforts to protect them, these species continue to decline due to trafficking for their body parts.
By supporting the PACT project, we can work together to protect Asian wildcat species and combat wildlife crime in Southeast Asia.
