The Malaysian Conservation Collective (MyCC) has launched Trees for Tigers! This initiative restores key habitat at the Sungai Yu Ecological Corridor in Pahang, Malaysia. This corridor is the last remaining linkage connecting the two largest forests in Peninsular Malaysia and is of key strategic importance for connecting populations of large mammals such as the critically endangered Malayan tiger and endangered Asian elephant.
When you pay for one tree to be planted by a member of the local indigenous community, you also pay for maintenance (weeding, watering, etc.) of newly planted trees as well.
The cost to plant one new tree is $15 (includes maintenance for five trees)
